Background info: I’m 5’10”ish, which is way taller in Japan than it is in America. I don’t actually teach 1st and 2nd graders, so my interactions with them tend to be pretty short and silly.

'eto' is basically the Japanese version of “um”, and thus is a term I use a lot when trying to speak over here.
